After dealing with injuries to multiple starters and key rotation players for most of the season, the Denver Nuggets are getting close to having a fully healthy roster.

According to Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette, the team is optimistic that wing Peyton Watson could return this week after being sidelined since February 4 with a right hamstring strain.

At this point, Watson is essentially the only player still listed on Denver’s injury report, aside from those currently assigned to the team’s G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Gold.

Watson has already been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against Philadelphia, and Benedetto notes that a return on Wednesday in Memphis is unlikely as well.

However, Friday’s game against Toronto is being viewed as a possible target for his comeback.

The 23-year-old forward is also set to become a restricted free agent this offseason.
