Utah Jazz wing Brice Sensabaugh understands that his long-term role with the organization remains uncertain, even as he shows offensive progress.

The 2023 first-round selection averaged 15.6 points per game last month and added a 17-point outing Saturday against the Milwaukee Bucks, but concerns about his defense and ball security continue to affect his development.

“I have to keep searching for those catch-and-shoot opportunities,” he told Kevin Reynolds of The Salt Lake Tribune.

“I want to improve everything except my shooting, to be honest. But like I said, shooting has to be the driving force.”

The player remains under contract for one more season at a salary of $4.86 million and will become eligible for restricted free agency in 2027.

Sensabaugh has played 3 seasons for the Jazz. He has averaged 10.9 points and 3.0 rebounds in 164 regular-season games.
