The Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings are facing significant injury challenges ahead of their Sunday night clash at Golden 1 Center.

Chicago listed five players as questionable or out, while Sacramento has six unavailable, raising questions about rotations and game strategy.

For the Bulls, Zach Collins, Jaden Ivey, Noa Essengue, Anfernee Simons, and Mac McClung are all sidelined due to various injuries. Matas Buzelis, Josh Giddey, Jalen Smith, and Patrick Williams are questionable, with ankle and leg concerns among the primary issues.

Giddey is averaging 17.7 points and 8.2 rebounds this season, while Buzelis contributes 15.3 points per game, making their status pivotal.

The Kings will be without Zach LaVine, Domantas Sabonis, De’Andre Hunter, Keegan Murray, Dylan Cardwell, and Isaiah Stevens.

Sabonis, out for left knee meniscus repair, is leading the team with 11.4 rebounds per game, while LaVine, recovering from right finger tendon repair, averages 19.2 points. The absence of these key players could force the Kings to rely more heavily on DeMar DeRozan and Russell Westbrook, who are averaging 18.2 and 15.3 points respectively.

Chicago comes into the game with a 26-37 record, fresh off a 105-103 road win against Phoenix. Sacramento, struggling at 14-50, has lost three straight, including a 123-133 home defeat to New Orleans.

The Bulls hold a 1-0 advantage in the season series, having won 126-113 at Sacramento in October.

Sunday’s matchup tips off at 9:00 PM ET.
