Matas Buzelis scored 27 points as the Chicago Bulls defeated the Sacramento Kings 126-113 on Wednesday night at the United Center. Chicago improved to 4-0, marking its best start since the 2021-22 season.

Josh Giddey recorded 20 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds, while Nikola Vucevic added 13 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists for the Bulls. Kevin Huerter chipped in 18 points as Chicago shot 53.8% from the field.

Sacramento’s Zach LaVine returned to Chicago and scored 30 points, highlighted by a first-quarter video tribute honoring his time with the Bulls. DeMar DeRozan contributed 19 points, and Domantas Sabonis added 18 points with 11 rebounds and six assists for the Kings.

The Bulls trailed 64-62 at halftime, but dominated the second half, outscoring Sacramento 64-49. Chicago’s third quarter proved decisive, as a 39-27 run, fueled by 65.4% shooting and 14 assists, gave the team a 101-91 lead heading into the fourth.

Chicago extended the lead to 17 points late in the game, maintaining control despite the Kings shooting 53.1% overall. Sacramento struggled from beyond the arc, making just seven of 28 three-point attempts.

Giddey had five assists in the third quarter alone, orchestrating the Bulls’ offense and keeping the team ahead. Chicago also benefited from strong contributions across the roster, with Buzelis and Vucevic anchoring the scoring and rebounding efforts.

The Bulls will host the New York Knicks on Friday, while Sacramento heads to Milwaukee on Saturday looking to rebound from its third consecutive loss.
