After Serbia’s loss to Turkey in Belgrade last Friday during the qualifiers for the 2027 FIBA World Cup in Qatar, head coach Dusan Alimpijevic is expected to regain an experienced presence for the team’s next matchup.

According to Mozzart Sports, Aleksa Avramovic is set to be available for Monday’s game against Ergin Ataman’s squad as Serbia looks to improve to a 3–1 record in Group C of the World Cup Qualifiers.

The Dubai Basketball guard was present at the previous game supporting his teammates and has since been practicing with the national team, indicating he is ready to return to action.

His availability would give Serbia one of its captains back for the final game of this stage of qualifying.

Mozzart Sport also reports that Serbia will be without Nikola Kalinic for the crucial rematch against Türkiye.

Kalinic has departed the national team’s training camp following an agreement with his club, Crvena Zvezda.
