Keegan Murray was diagnosed with a mild left ankle sprain and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, the Sacramento Kings announced on Friday.

The injury occurred during Wednesday night’s matchup against the Rockets, forcing Murray to leave after aggravating his left ankle.

The setback comes shortly after the forward had worked his way back into the lineup following a lengthy absence.

Murray had just returned from missing 20 games after injuring the same ankle on January 4, making this latest issue particularly frustrating for both the player and the team as he continues to deal with lingering effects from the earlier injury.

Before the injury, Murray provided steady two-way production. He is averaging 14.0 points and 5.7 rebounds on the year.
