The Sacramento Kings outlasted the Memphis Grizzlies 123-114, ending their 16-game losing streak on Monday night.

Russell Westbrook led Sacramento with 25 points, Precious Achiuwa added 22, while Demar DeRozan and Daeqwon Plowden finished with 19 each.

The Kings had their longest losing streak in franchise history, as they last won on Jan. 16, beating the Wizards.

On the other hand, Grizzlies’ Javon Smalls had 21 points and nine assists, Olivier-Maxence Prosper had 17, and GG Jackson added 16 points.

Memphis fought back to take the lead early in the third quarter, but Sacramento answered with an 18-6 rally to build the game’s first double-digit lead midway through the period.

92-89 as the Kings led entering the fourth, followed by Wesbrook’s three-pointer to sustain a 15-4 burst with 8:45 left.

Meanwhile, key players with injuries have left both teams in the bottom seeds, as the Grizzlies sit in 11th place and the Kings are last.

Sacramento led 63-61 at the half as both teams shot better than 54%, with the Grizzlies lacking an active player taller than the 6-foot-9 Jackson.

Both teams will play on Wednesday: the Kings visit Houston, while the Grizzlies host the Warriors.
