FC Bayern Munich reached a new agreement with shooting guard Nihad Djedovic to keep working together for two more years, with an option for another season.

Djedovic (1.96 meters, 27 years old) averaged 14.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 5 7DAYS EuroCup games last season. Bayern started the 2015-16 season in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, in which Djedovic averaged 12.4 points in 10 games. He grew up with Bosna Sarajevo of his antive Bosnia and Herzegovina and has also played for FC Barcelona, WTC Cornella and Obradoiro of Spain, Lottomatica Roma of Italy, Galatasaray Istanbul of Turkey and ALBA Berlin of Germany.

He has been a league champion in three different countries – with Bosna in 2006, Barcelona in 2009 and Bayern in 2014. Djedovic is also a regular member of the Bosnian national team.

“I am happy that I will stay with Bayern. I only had this plan and was hoping to stay, as Munich has long been like my second home,” Djedovic said. “I will work to keep getting better as a player in the next few years. I hope to celebrate a few titles with Bayern – and that I finally get have an injury-free season.”
