After 19 seasons schooling everyone with his fundamental genius, San Antonio Spurs big man Tim Duncan has called it a day.
Duncan was the first pick of the 1997 NBA Draft and during his time with the Spurs, he has won five championships, claimed three Finals MVP and two MVP awards.
Along with coach Gregg Popovich, Duncan has turned the Spurs to a non-hopeful to a regular title contender.
But with the arrival of Pau Gasol, the time looked right to call it a day.
