The Indiana Pacers and Washington Wizards enter Thursday night’s contest at Capital One Arena with heavily impacted rosters.
Indiana has five players listed as out, including Johnny Furphy (right ACL) and Tyrese Haliburton (right Achilles), while Pascal Siakam is unavailable due to personal reasons. Obi Toppin (right foot) and Ivica Zubac (left ankle) are also sidelined.
Several Pacers are listed as questionable, including T.J. McConnell (right hamstring), Aaron Nesmith (lumbar sprain), Quenton Jackson, and Micah Potter (left ankle), while Taelon Peter and Ethan Thompson are probable from the G League.
Washington faces its own challenges as D’Angelo Russell is not with the team, and Anthony Davis (left finger sprain), Alex Sarr (right hamstring strain), Cam Whitmore (right shoulder deep vein thrombosis), and Trae Young (right knee MCL sprain; quad contusion) are all out.
The Pacers have found momentum despite injuries, winning their last two games against the Brooklyn Nets (115-110) and New York Knicks (137-134 OT).
Andrew Nembhard has stepped up with 17.4 points and 7.5 assists per game, while Aaron Nesmith is averaging 13.6 points. Jarace Walker adds 10.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest.
The Wizards, conversely, are on a three-game losing streak, most recently dropping 113-138 to Cleveland.
Kyshawn George leads Washington with 15.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. Justin Champagnie and Bub Carrington contribute 7.8 and 10.2 points, respectively.
Both teams have split this season’s previous meetings, with Indiana winning 119-86 on November 28, 2025, and Washington taking a 108-89 victory on December 14, 2025.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM ET at Capital One Arena. Both teams sit near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, with Indiana at 15-40 and Washington at 14-39.
