The FIBA Olympic Qualifiers concluded today when France claimed the final spot, outlasting Canada in Manila. And with the women’s qualifying tournament ending in June, we now have our Rio 2016 Olympic calendar finalised.
MEN:
USA might not have the best two players on the planet in LeBron James and Stephen Curry but they are still the favourites to make it a three-peat of gold medals in Rio.
They open their Olympic campaign against China on August 6 and conclude their group phase play against France on August 14.

WOMEN:
France and Spain will fancy their chances but like the men, the USA are widely expected to compete for the gold medal in Rio.
