The Oklahoma City Thunder announced Thursday that Jalen Williams has been diagnosed with a right hamstring strain and will undergo another evaluation following the All-Star break, creating uncertainty around his short-term availability.

This marks the second time in less than a month that Williams has dealt with a hamstring issue.

The injury initially occurred on January 17, forcing him to miss 10 consecutive games before he made his return to the lineup earlier this week against the Lakers.

However, during Wednesday’s matchup with the Suns, the injury was aggravated, leading to another setback.

Williams has been a key contributor for Oklahoma City throughout the season, averaging 17.5 points along with 5.4 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game, making his absence a notable challenge for the Thunder as they navigate the stretch run.
