The Washington Wizards have added guard Keshon Gilbert on a 10-day contract, giving the rookie another opportunity at the NBA level after time within the organization earlier this season.
Gilbert, a 22-year-old guard listed at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds, appeared with Washington during the 2025-26 preseason.
He has spent the bulk of his rookie year with the Capital City Go-Go, where he has been a steady contributor across 30 games.
Gilbert is averaging 13.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game while playing heavy minutes in the G League.
His season has included several standout performances, highlighted by the Go-Go’s only triple-double of the year when he posted 25 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists on Jan. 1 against Westchester.
Gilbert has scored in double figures 18 times and reached the 20-point mark in eight games, including a season-high 33-point effort on Dec. 5 against the 905, when he also added six rebounds and 10 assists.
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Gilbert began his college career with two seasons at UNLV before transferring to Iowa State, where he finished his collegiate run with two more seasons.
Across his college career, Gilbert averaged 10.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals in 31.3 minutes per game.
