The San Antonio Spurs are set to welcome wing Devin Vassell back to the lineup Sunday against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Vassell has been sidelined for the Spurs’ past 13 games after suffering a strained left adductor, a stretch in which San Antonio managed an 8-5 record without him.

Before the injury, the player had not missed a game this season.

In his sixth NBA campaign, he is averaging 15 points and four rebounds per game.

Julian Champagnie filled in as a starter during Vassell’s absence.

With Vassell returning, San Antonio should be close to full strength once again.

Center Luke Kornet missed the Spurs’ previous game due to groin tightness, but the issue is not expected to sideline him for an extended period.
