Tyrese Maxey continues to enjoy a breakout season for Philadelphia, one that was recently rewarded with his first career All-Star starting nod and his second All-Star selection overall.

Speaking with reporters on Monday, the 25-year-old guard said he would welcome the opportunity to suit up for USA Basketball in the future if given the chance.

“I would love to play for Team USA … If that’s something that I have the opportunity to do, then I’ll definitely be there for it,” the player said, via a video shared by PHLY Sixers.

Maxey’s All-Star recognition has been fueled by career-best production across the board during the 2025/26 season. He is averaging 30.3 points, 6.7 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.0 blocks per game, all personal highs.

In addition, Maxey leads the NBA in minutes played, logging 39.3 minutes per contest, underscoring both his durability and importance to the Sixers’ lineup.
