Oklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Jalen Williams showed respect to the San Antonio Spurs as an opponent after Tuesday’s 119-98 home win.

(via Oklahoma City Thunder):

“They beat us three times, so it doesn’t really happen for us. I will say, though, they make us a better team when we play them — win or lose — we have to go about playing the right way every time we play them and it forces us to have to do other things in order to win, and we were able to do that tonight. And like I said, when you play teams like that, you just have to pay attention to detail throughout the whole entire game, otherwise the game can kinda get out of hand, and that was the case for this one. I think last time we played them in San Antonio, we did a good job of it first half, and then we had a stretch where we didn’t do a good job of it and then that’s when it kinda got away, and we were able to kinda nip that in the bud this game.”
