The Denver Nuggets visit the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, January 14, in a Western Conference clash at American Airlines Center with tip-off set for 9:30 p.m. ET.

Denver enters the matchup with significant injury concerns, including Nikola Jokic (left knee, bone bruise), Cameron Johnson (right knee, bone bruise), and Tamar Bates (left foot, post-surgery), all listed as out.

Christian Braun (left ankle) and Jamal Murray (left ankle) are questionable, while Aaron Gordon (right hamstring) and Spencer Jones (left ankle) are probable, potentially affecting the Nuggets’ depth and rotation.

Dallas also faces a depleted roster, with Kyrie Irving (left knee, surgery), Anthony Davis (left finger, sprain), and Dereck Lively II (right foot, surgery) confirmed out, while Max Christie (illness) is doubtful.

P.J. Washington, Brandon Williams, Miles Kelly, and Moussa Cisse are all questionable, leaving the Mavericks with limited options in their starting lineup and rotation.

Denver has won its last two games, including a 122-116 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans and a 108-104 win against the Milwaukee Bucks, riding a small winning streak into Dallas.

The Mavericks are coming off a 113-105 win against the Brooklyn Nets after a 125-107 loss to the Chicago Bulls, maintaining only a one-game winning streak.

Through 2025-26, Denver averages 122.7 points and 43.0 rebounds per game, ranking third in the Western Conference with a 27-13 record. Murray is averaging 25.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 7.5 assists, while Jokic adds 29.6 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 11.0 assists per game.

Dallas, with a 15-25 record, scores 113.0 points while allowing 116.8, with 19-year-old Cooper Flagg leading the team at 19.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game.

The season series heavily favors Dallas, who won both prior matchups by 10 points on December 1 and by a single point on December 23.
