Speaking on the Clutch Scoops show, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints floated the Chicago Bulls as a team worth monitoring in connection with Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans.

Siegel suggested there has been enough background buzz to take the idea seriously, noting that Chicago has recently spent time evaluating New Orleans and gathering intel rather than simply doing routine advance work.

The analyst framed Williamson as the kind of upside gamble that could appeal to the Bulls given their current roster structure, particularly their collection of expiring contracts, which offers flexibility without long-term risk.

From his perspective, that combination positions Chicago as a logical team to explore a discounted swing on a high-ceiling talent, especially if concerns around availability and consistency continue to suppress Williamson’s market value.

Williamson has played 6 seasons for the Pelicans. He has averaged 24.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 237 regular-season games. He was selected to play in 2 All-Star games.
