The Charlotte Hornets stunned the Oklahoma City Thunder 124-97 on Monday evening.

Hornets’ Brandon Miller dropped 28 points while Kon Knueppel added 23 points, after losing three of four before handing the Thunder its worst loss of the season.

It was a season-low point total for the Thunder, marking the only time they failed to score 100 points.

Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 21 points with 7 of 21 field goals for his 108th straight game with at least 20, the second-longest in NBA history.

It was Oklahoma’s second straight loss and second home defeat of the season, and now they have a 30-7 win-loss record from 24-1.

Despite the Hornets running out to an early 21-9 lead,  Ajay Mitchell led the Thunder by 10 points off the bench, tying the game at 33 by the end of the first quarter.

Charlotte answered back to regain their momentum in the second and went up 67-50 at halftime.

Miller scored 19 points before the break as Oklahoma made just 8 of 15 free throws in the first half.

Meanwhile, LaMelo Ball caught a ball that was heading out of bounds, then made a circus shot from the corner with a foot on the three-point line while standing on one leg to push their lead to 74-55.

Miller’s three-pointer as time expired in the third extended Charlotte’s lead to 99-71, and they managed to maintain their lead.

The Hornets will host the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, while the Thunder aims to bounce back against the Jazz.
