Jalen Suggs has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 MCL contusion in his right knee, an update shared by the Orlando Magic on Saturday.

The team indicated that his availability moving forward will be determined by how well he progresses through treatment and recovery.

The setback comes shortly after Suggs returned to action following a hip contusion, marking another interruption in his season.

He sustained the knee injury during Friday night’s contest against the Chicago Bulls, creating uncertainty around his short-term status.

When healthy, Suggs has been a consistent contributor for Orlando, posting averages of 15.0 points, 4.7 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game, numbers that highlight his two-way role in the Magic’s rotation.
