The Indiana Pacers host the Orlando Magic on Sunday, January 4, with tipoff scheduled for 6:00 p.m. ET. Indiana enters at 6-29, while Orlando holds a 19-16 record as injuries continue to shape both rotations.

Indiana’s injury report remains significant. Tyrese Haliburton is out with a right Achilles tendon tear. The Pacers are also without Bennedict Mathurin due to a right thumb sprain and Isaiah Jackson, who remains sidelined with a concussion. Obi Toppin is out with right foot stress fracture

Pascal Siakam continues to anchor Indiana’s offense, averaging 23.5 points and 6.7 rebounds. Andrew Nembhard has taken on increased ball-handling duties and is averaging 17.2 points and 6.7 assists.

Indiana lost 113-123 to San Antonio on January 2 after falling 110-112 to Orlando on December 31.

Orlando enters the rematch with its own key injuries. Franz Wagner is out with a left high ankle sprain, removing a 22.7-point scorer from the lineup. Jalen Suggs remains sidelined with a right knee Grade 1 MCL contusion, while Moritz Wagner continues his recovery from a left knee injury. Colin Castleton is also unavailable due to G League two-way status.

Despite those losses, the Magic rely on Paolo Banchero, who is averaging 20.7 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 4.7 assists. Desmond Bane adds 18.9 points per game and provides perimeter shooting stability.

Orlando is coming off a 114-121 loss at Chicago on January 2 after defeating Indiana two days earlier.
