During Denver’s game in Cleveland on Friday, NBA on Prime sideline reporter Cassidy Hubbarth shared some optimistic news regarding the health of three key Nuggets players, as relayed by Ryan Blackburn of Mile High Sports.
Hubbarth explained that Aaron Gordon, who is dealing with a hamstring issue, and Christian Braun, who is nursing an ankle problem, are both still feeling some lingering discomfort.
Even so, the expectation is that each could be back in action at some stage of the current road swing, which wraps up next Wednesday with a matchup in Boston.
She also provided an update on Nikola Jokic, noting that the team has been encouraged by how well he has been progressing while recovering from his left knee injury.
The Nuggets, according to Hubbarth, have been more impressed than anticipated with the strides Jokic has made so far in his rehab.
