Christian Koloko’s 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies came to an end on Thursday after he appeared in five games as a hardship addition, including one start.

During that stretch, he averaged 18.6 minutes per game and provided much-needed depth while Memphis dealt with multiple injuries.

It remains unclear whether the Grizzlies still meet the requirements for another hardship exception, as that determination depends on the expected return timelines of several injured players.

If the team no longer qualifies under those guidelines, Koloko could still be brought back on a standard 10-day contract once the league’s window opens on Monday for the 2025–26 season.

However, that scenario would require Memphis to free up a spot on its 15-man roster before making a move.

Koloko has played 3 seasons for the Lakers, Grizzlies, and Raptors. He has averaged 2.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in 102 regular-season games.
