Miami Heat turned a close game into a blowout Saturday night, overwhelming the Indiana Pacers 142-116 at Kaseya Center with a dominant fourth-quarter surge.
Andrew Wiggins and Jaime Jaquez Jr. each scored 28 points as Miami improved to 17-15 and completed a two-night winning streak.
The Heat entered the final quarter holding a slim 98-94 lead, then outscored Indiana 44-22 over the final 12 minutes to put the game away.
Miami poured in 83 second-half points and finished with a massive 60-23 advantage in bench scoring, exposing Indiana’s depth issues.
Norman Powell added 23 points for Miami, while Nikola Jovic scored 19 and posted a team-best plus-35 in 25 minutes.
The Heat have now reached 140 points six times this season and seven times in the 2025 calendar year, a scoring pace the franchise rarely approached over the previous three decades.
Miami achieved the outburst despite missing two core starters, with Tyler Herro sidelined by a toe injury and Bam Adebayo out due to back soreness.
Herro has appeared in just six games this season and missed nine of Miami’s last 10, while Adebayo sat out his second straight contest.
Indiana fell to 6-26 and continued to struggle defensively, allowing at least 140 points for the third time this season.
Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 33 points on 14-of-21 shooting, and Bennedict Mathurin added 25.
Andrew Nembhard contributed 15 points and 16 assists, but Indiana committed 26 turnovers and could not keep pace once Miami increased pressure late.
Aaron Nesmith returned after missing 19 games with a shoulder injury and scored nine points in 19 minutes.
Miami shot 51 percent from the field and 95 percent from the free-throw line, maintaining efficiency even as the rotation expanded in the second half.
The Heat will look to build on the performance when they host the Denver Nuggets on Monday, while Indiana travels to Houston still searching for solutions during a difficult season.
