There’s a sense around the league that the Milwaukee Bucks are positioning themselves to make a meaningful in-season move to improve the roster around Giannis Antetokounmpo and Myles Turner.
According to Brett Siegel of Clutch Points, Milwaukee is expected to be active rather than cautious as the trade market develops.
At the G League Winter Showcase, executives most frequently connected the Bucks to Jerami Grant, with some speculating that a larger deal with Portland could also include Robert Williams.
One proposed framework involved Kyle Kuzma, Bobby Portis, and a smaller contract heading out, though it’s unclear whether that type of move would significantly change Milwaukee’s outlook given Williams’ durability concerns and limited on-court impact this season.
Siegel also reports that the Bucks have looked into other options, including Andrew Wiggins and Wizards shooter Corey Kispert.
Kispert, despite playing reduced minutes, remains an efficient perimeter threat, knocking down just over 40 percent of his three-point attempts this year.
