Interest in Coby White is picking up across the league, with at least half a dozen teams reaching out to the Chicago Bulls to gauge his availability, according to reporting from Brett Siegel.
Among executives, there’s speculation that the Orlando Magic, Atlanta Hawks, and Cleveland Cavaliers are potential teams keeping a close eye on the situation.
From Orlando’s perspective, the idea is said to be centered on boosting offensive production. Siegel notes a belief around the league that the Magic could be willing to move Jonathan Isaac along with second-round draft assets in pursuit of additional scoring.
Chicago, however, appears to be holding a firm stance on White’s value, with optimism internally that they can secure at least one unprotected first-round pick in any deal.
While it seems realistic that the Bulls could land a 2026 first-round selection from a contending team, extracting a future pick with real lottery potential may be far more challenging.
White is widely expected to play out the season without agreeing to an extension before hitting unrestricted free agency, which could limit how much draft capital rival teams are willing to commit despite his on-court impact.
