The Washington Wizards visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday, December 20, for an 8:00 PM ET tipoff at FedExForum. Washington is on a one-game losing streak, while Memphis enters the matchup riding a two-game winning streak.

The Wizards will be without Sharife Cooper and AJ Johnson due to G League assignments, and Corey Kispert is sidelined with a right thumb fracture. Malaki Branham and Khris Middleton are listed as questionable with a right thumb sprain and right knee contusion, respectively.

Memphis faces a significant injury list, with Ja Morant (left ankle), Zach Edey (left ankle stress reaction), and John Konchar (left thumb UCL surgery recovery) all out. Additional absences include Ty Jerome, Scotty Pippen Jr., Javon Small, Vince Williams Jr., and G League players GG Jackson and Jahmai Mashack.

Washington relies on CJ McCollum (18.6 PPG, 3.4 APG, 3.2 RPG) and Alex Sarr (19.0 PPG, 8.3 RPG) to anchor scoring and rebounding. Kyshawn George contributes 14.7 points with 5.0 assists, while Tre Johnson adds 11.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.

Memphis counters with Jaren Jackson Jr. (17.8 PPG, 5.2 RPG, 2.0 APG) and Cedric Coward (13.4 PPG, 6.2 RPG) leading the frontcourt. Jaylen Wells (12.7 PPG) and Santi Aldama (12.9 PPG, 6.5 RPG) provide complementary scoring, while Cam Spencer adds 12.0 points with 4.0 assists off the bench.

This season marks the first matchup between the two teams.
