Trey Jemison’s standout performance led the Memphis Grizzlies (23-43) to a convincing 109-97 victory over the Washington Wizards (11-54) on Tuesday night, as the towering center dominated the paint and set a new career-high in scoring.

Jemison, who is on a two-way deal with the Grizzlies, scored career-high 24 points on 11 of 13 shooting. Memphis had strong support off the bench with GG Jackson scoring 19 points and Jake LaRavia adding 16.

Kyle Kuzma led the Wizards with 24 points, while Corey Kispert added 22, and Deni Avdija contributed 16, but it wasn’t enough for Washington to overcome the Grizzlies.
