The New Orleans Pelicans have their second win streak as they outlasted the Chicago Bulls twice this season, 114-104 on Sunday night.
Pelicans star Trey Murphy III dropped 20 points and 10 rebounds, while rookie Jeremiah Fears added 20 points.
The last-place New Orleans won their second straight following a seven-game losing streak to improve to a 5-22 win-loss record.
Zion Williamson scored 18 points in his return, and Jordan Poole with 16, outrebounding Chicago 53-43 and outscoring 60-46 down the paint.
Meanwhile, Bulls guard Coby White contributed 20 points, while Kevin Huerter added 16 off the bench after recovering from left adductor strain, but they are in a slump, losing eighth time in nine games.
The Pelicans led 76-75 after three quarters, but they had opened a 13-point lead 5:14 into the third, followed by a bounce for Chicago as White started converting a 16-2 run to get back into the clash.
The Bulls took a three-point lead in the early fourth quarter, but the Pelicans answered back ahead to take control, with Williamson taking charge.
Williamson dropped rolling late in the second quarter, scoring eight of 11 first-half points in the final four minutes.
He sustained four separate injuries, resulting in just 11 games this season for the Pelicans.
Both teams struggled offensively in a choppy game, where New Orleans shot 45.7% and Chicago with 41.3%.
The Pelicans will be looking forward to their third win streak against the Rockets, while the Bulls aim to end their slump against Cleveland on Wednesday.
