The New Orleans Pelicans visit the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, December 14, at 7:00 PM ET at the United Center, with both teams entering on winning streaks and monitoring several key injuries.

New Orleans arrives with a 4–22 record and just its second road win opportunity of the season, while Chicago stands at 10–14 and continues to hover near the middle of the Eastern Conference standings.

The Pelicans’ injury report centers on Zion Williamson, who is listed as questionable with a right adductor strain. Williamson has averaged 22.1 points and 4.0 assists in 10 appearances, and his availability directly impacts New Orleans’ half-court scoring efficiency.

Dejounte Murray remains out for the season following a right Achilles rupture. Two-way players Trey Alexander and Hunter Dickinson are also unavailable due to G League assignments.

If Williamson is limited or sidelined, New Orleans is expected to lean heavily on Trey Murphy III, who leads the team with 21.2 points per game while averaging 35.5 minutes. Jordan Poole and rookie Jeremiah Fears would also see increased on-ball responsibility.

Chicago’s injury report features multiple rotation pieces, starting with Ayo Dosunmu, who is listed as doubtful with a right thumb sprain. Dosunmu has averaged 15.2 points while shooting efficiently from three.

Kevin Huerter is questionable with a left adductor strain, which could affect Chicago’s floor spacing. The veteran wing has averaged 11.9 points and remains a key off-ball shooter.

Coby White is listed as probable due to right calf tightness, a positive sign for Chicago’s backcourt. White has played eight games this season and is averaging 21.9 points and 5.0 assists.

Dalen Terry is also probable with a left hand strain, while Noa Essengue remains out following left shoulder surgery. Several Bulls, including Trentyn Flowers and Emanuel Miller, are unavailable due to G League status.

Josh Giddey continues to anchor Chicago’s offense, averaging 20.5 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 9.0 assists. Nikola Vucevic provides frontcourt stability with 15.7 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.

The teams met earlier this season on November 24, when New Orleans earned a 143–130 home win.
