Although late first-round pick Liam McNeeley hasn’t had a steady role in the Charlotte Hornets’ rotation during his rookie year, the uneven minutes haven’t dampened his enthusiasm.

McNeeley has embraced every opportunity, staying upbeat and fully engaged as he experiences his first NBA season.

As Sam Perley of Hornets.com writes, the player is simply thrilled to be where he is – living out the dream he envisioned since childhood.

“I’m having the time of my life right now,” McNeeley said with a noticeable huge grin on his face.

“I can’t complain. It’s so cool getting to live out the dream. It’s even better than I thought it was going to be growing up. It’s everything I could have imagined and more. It’s something that I dreamt about as a kid and now I get to live it out. I really can’t say enough good things about it.”
