Here’s Orlando Magic big man Wendell Carter Jr. on the team’s recent balance between playing fast and slowing the ball down (started off 4-6/8-2 in last ten games).

(via Orlando Magic):

“It was one of those feel things. We came into the year like, ‘We’re gonna play fast, play fast.’ And we started playing a little too fast, in my opinion, in moments where we didn’t really have an advantage trying to make something out of nothing. But now, we’ve kinda found the sweet spot of knowing when to run, when not to run, when to get a good shot, understanding the momentum of the game, understanding that maybe we need to take a little bit of time off the clock to make sure we get a good shot. So we found that sense of whether to run or to take our time on the offensive end, but I think there’s definitely more room for us to grow in that aspect.”
