Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens strengthened their grip on the EuroLeague’s top tier with a commanding 91-69 win over Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade at the Telekom Center on Tuesday, November 25.

The Greens turned a narrow early deficit into a decisive advantage, outscoring Partizan with a record-equalling 25-0 run spanning the third and early fourth quarters.

Kendrick Nunn was the driving force behind the onslaught, finishing with 26 points on 4-of-5 two-point shooting, 3-of-4 from deep, 9-of-12 free throws, alongside 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal, earning a PIR of 39.

Partizan began strongly, scoring 31 first-quarter points and shooting 7-of-9 inside the arc with 4-of-7 from three, but Panathinaikos’ balanced offense kept the game tight before the decisive second-quarter surge.

An 11-2 run in the second quarter flipped the score 48-44 at halftime, setting the stage for Panathinaikos’ dominance in the second half. Nunn scored 8 consecutive points in just over a minute in the third quarter, pushing the lead into double digits.

All five Panathinaikos starters contributed early, with Kenneth Faried connecting on a highlight-reel alley-oop fast break with TJ Shorts, while Ioannis Kouzeloglou and Nunn provided scoring consistency.

Partizan struggled to respond as open three-point opportunities went largely unconverted, shooting only 4-of-24 from deep and scoring just six points in the third quarter.

Panathinaikos’ balanced effort included contributions from Shorts (5 points), Faried (12), and Nunn, with the team totaling 25 assists while forcing 12 turnovers.

Partizan’s top performers included Sterling Brown (16 points) and Nick Calathes (9 points), but the visitors could not withstand the Greens’ record run.

Panathinaikos’ dominance was reflected across the stat sheet: 44 rebounds, 25 assists, and 7 steals contrasted with Partizan’s 22 boards, 14 assists, and 6 steals. The Greens move to 9-4, while the Serbian side drops to 4-9.

Panathinaikos hosts Valencia next Friday in Round 14, aiming to extend their winning streak, while Partizan faces Bayern Munich at home on Thursday in the same round.
