Valencia Basket dominated FC Bayern Munich 90-64 at Roig Arena on Tuesday, November 25, securing their fifth straight home win and improving to 8-5 in EuroLeague play.

Brancou Badio led the charge with 16 points, three three-pointers, and a chase-down block on Stefan Jovic, adding a rebound, two assists, and two steals for a career-high PIR of 21.

Valencia trailed 19-21 after the first quarter and saw Bayern extend the lead to seven in the second, but a 14-2 run late in the half put the hosts ahead 41-37 at halftime.

The Spanish side pulled away decisively in the third quarter with a 21-4 start, building a 22-point lead that Bayern could not overcome. Five Valencia players scored in double figures: Jean Montero and Omari Moore with 13 each, Darius Thompson with 12, Nate Reuvers 11, and Badio 16.

Bayern struggled without head coach Gordon Herbert and managed just 27 second-half points in their fourth straight loss, dropping to 5-8 overall and 1-5 on the road. Spencer Dinwiddie led the visitors with 12 points despite foul trouble, while Justus Hollatz added nine.

Valencia also excelled defensively, limiting Bayern to 17.6% from three-point range and forcing 13 turnovers while recording 16 assists. The team’s balanced attack and efficient perimeter shooting underscored their dominance.

Pedro Martinez’s squad will face Panathinaikos next Friday, aiming to extend their home-winning streak, while Bayern travels to Belgrade to take on Partizan on Thursday in Round 14.
