New Darussafaka Dogus coach is in Treviso, Italy for Adidas Eurocamp, the European Draft combine for the game’s future stars.

In what was an interesting lecture by the former Cleveland Cavaliers coach, Blatt spoke about his time in Cleveland, in particular Matthew Dellavedova and gave the young generation some easier-said-than-done advice to the aspiring teenagers.

Blatt also told the players in Treviso that they need to avoid the social media platform Snapchat, calling it ‘dangerous’.

Away from the players, Blatt will head back to Istanbul to take charge of Darussafaka Dogus where he told Italian bloggers Sportando that they are building something special.

Via Sportando:

Blatt [said when asked if Dogus was his first option?]: I was in the USA in April and I had four interviews scheduled with NBA teams. But before that I had already talked with Dogus and their offer was very interesting for me. We reached an agreement and I said that I would have joined them, if I hadn’t find anything in NBA. The offers from NBA weren’t interesting, so I decided to take the job with Dogus. I had also other options in Europe but Dogus was the best for me. They’re trying to build something special.
