Miami Heat sharpshooter Norman Powell spoke highly of how Kel’el Ware has adjusted to whatever role is needed each game following Friday’s 143-107 NBA Cup road win vs. the Chicago Bulls (20 points/14 rebounds/1 assist/2 steals/1 block/8-15 FG/4-4 FT/+17 +/-).

“He’s been amazing. That’s (rebounding is) his talent. That’s what he can do. That’s his impact on the game. I’m still mad that he didn’t dunk my assist to him in transition, so I had to get on him about that. Then, he started wanting to dunk everything. But nah, I mean, he’s gonna be a big piece of what we’re trying to do here. The sky’s the limit of what he can do. It’s all about his energy and his effort and his mental approach to the games. I think he’s done a great job of being in different roles and not letting it affect his performance or what he has to do out there.”
