Here’s Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic on the professionalism/readiness of Jamison Battle following Friday’s 112-101 NBA Cup road win vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers (20 points/1 rebound/1 block/7-7 FG/6-6 3-PT/+28 +/-).

“He is the ultimate professional. He does everything in his power to work on his body to stay ready. Today, people don’t know, but after shootaround, he stayed and he played in our play group and he played for 20 minutes there, and then playing 1-on-1. He’s just doing everything in his power. And he’s not the only one. Jamison did it today. Jonathan Mogbo did it. Garrett Temple. All of those guys, they’re always staying ready. So that pays off when you have that type of approach to work and work really hard and then you’re committed, it pays off.”
