The New Orleans Pelicans head to Inglewood to face the LA Clippers on Friday with several players sidelined. Dejounte Murray remains out with a right Achilles rupture, while Kevon Looney is listed as doubtful with a left knee sprain. Two-way players Trey Alexander and Hunter Dickinson will also not play.

The Clippers will be without Jordan Miller (left hamstring strain), Yanic Konan Niederhauser (left ankle sprain), and Kobe Sanders (right knee sprain).

Zion Williamson leads the Pelicans with 21.7 points per game, averaging six rebounds and nearly five assists through four contests. Jordan Poole adds 17 points and 3.3 assists per game, supporting New Orleans’ backcourt despite roster gaps.

LA relies heavily on James Harden, who averages 21 points, eight assists, and five rebounds per game. Kawhi Leonard contributes 21 points and six rebounds per game, while Ivica Zubac provides a strong inside presence with 15 points and eight rebounds per contest.

New Orleans has struggled through the early season, holding a 0–4 record and failing to find momentum at home or on the road.

The Clippers sit at 2–2 overall, with home games proving more successful than road contests.

Friday’s game tips off at 10:30 PM ET, with the Clippers aiming to capitalize on home-court advantage and the Pelicans seeking a breakthrough win in the NBA Cup.
