Jabari Parker looked back on his NBA years with the Milwaukee Bucks, where he shared the court with Giannis Antetokounmpo.

“That was somebody that I’m very happy and fortunate enough to have been a part of my life,” he said. “It goes beyond just the game of basketball. I was there when he first met his wife. We were in Vegas. It’s special for the game.”

On the growth of international basketball, the 30-year-old power forward pointed to the USA–Serbia semifinal at the Paris Olympics.

“How is it that these Serbians, from this small country, are able to compete with the so-called best? That’s just to say the world has caught up. Basketball is global now. It’s not just the United States.”
