Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo believes the team has the potential to become an even more productive offensive unit following the addition of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Adebayo pointed to Miami’s scoring performances last season, when the Heat led the NBA in games with at least 140 points, and suggested that Antetokounmpo’s presence could help the team reach even higher totals.
“Last year we led the league in 140-point games, and that’s with no Giannis Antetokounmpo.
“We see the potential – the fact we can get two 70-point halves; you know, Spo’s a maniac – he’s going to push us to be like, ‘try to get to 80, try to get to 85,’ and that’s the potential for this team.
“We’re excited about it … when we get this going, you’re going to see a lot of 70-point halves.”
