Thomas Bryant has reached an agreement with the Cleveland Cavaliers on a one-year contract, giving the team an additional option in their frontcourt.

The 28-year-old center will help strengthen the Cavaliers’ depth behind established big men Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, and Larry Nance Jr., offering valuable size and experience off the bench.

During the 2023–24 season, split between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers, Bryant appeared in 66 games.

In limited minutes – just under 15 per game – he contributed an average of 6.5 points and 3.8 rebounds, showing efficiency in spot minutes as a reserve.

Originally drafted 42nd overall in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, Bryant played his college basketball at Indiana University.

Over the course of his career, he has suited up for multiple teams, including the Lakers, Washington Wizards, and Denver Nuggets, along with his most recent stints in Miami and Indiana.

Now, he’ll bring his journeyman experience and reliable interior presence to a Cavaliers team aiming to solidify its frontcourt rotation.
