The Utah Jazz have added center/forward Steven Crowl and guard Matthew Murrell to their roster, the team announced.
Crowl, a 7-foot forward from Wisconsin, appeared in 153 games over five seasons, averaging 9.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.
His 153 career games rank third all-time in Wisconsin history, with a final season averaging 9.9 points, 5.3 boards, and 2.4 assists over 37 contests.
Murrell, a 6-foot-4 guard from Ole Miss, also played five seasons, appearing in 153 games with career averages of 11.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
He left Ole Miss ranked first in both career games and minutes played, while also ranking among the school’s leaders in steals, three-pointers, and points.
During the 2024–25 season, Murrell averaged 10.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.8 steals in 32 games.
The signings bolster the Jazz’s depth as the team looks to integrate young talent alongside veterans like Lauri Markkanen, Walker Kessler, and Kevin Love.
Head coach Will Hardy will evaluate Crowl and Murrell in training camp, with both players expected to compete for roster spots in the regular season rotation.
