Frank Ntilikina looks set for another move in his professional journey, as Olympiacos is working to finalize a deal to bring in the French guard, according to Aris Barkas of Eurohoops.

Barkas reports that “only details remain” between Olympiacos and Ntilikina’s current club, Partizan Belgrade, before the transfer is completed.

The timing appears close, as Partizan has been in Australia for a preseason tournament and the agreement could be sealed shortly after their return.

This comes just weeks after Ntilikina had agreed to an extension with Partizan through 2027, a deal that initially seemed to secure his place in Belgrade for the long term.

Olympiacos’ interest is linked directly to roster needs. With guard Keenan Evans sidelined due to injury, the team has been searching for reinforcements in the backcourt, as reported by Mihalis Stefanou of Eurohoops.

While Evan Fournier and Saben Lee remain key guard options, head coach Giorgos Bartzokas is eager to add another experienced playmaker to stabilize the rotation before the start of the EuroLeague season.

Ntilikina, now 27, has had a winding career. Once regarded as one of France’s brightest young prospects, he was drafted eighth overall by the New York Knicks in 2017.

He spent four years in New York, followed by a stint with the Dallas Mavericks beginning in 2021. His NBA run concluded with the Charlotte Hornets, where he made five appearances during the 2023/24 campaign.

Last summer, he opted to return to Europe and signed with Partizan, contributing to their ABA League title run.

In 21 appearances for the Serbian club, he averaged 7.0 points, 2.0 assists, and 1.7 rebounds per game, shooting an efficient 45.8% from the field and 37.7% from three-point range.

If finalized, the move to Olympiacos would represent not only a reunion with top-tier EuroLeague basketball but also an opportunity for Ntilikina to re-establish himself as a central figure on a team with high expectations both domestically and in Europe.
