Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade has signed former NBA guard Frank Ntilikina on a two-year deal, marking his return to the EuroLeague.
Ntilikina last played with the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA, where he had limited playing time last season.
The French point guard previously made four EuroLeague appearances for Strasbourg during the 2015-16 season, just before his transition to the NBA.
Ntilikina spent the last seven years in the NBA, having been selected with the eighth overall pick by the New York Knicks in the 2017 NBA Draft. He played for the Knicks until 2021, then joined the Dallas Mavericks (2021-23) and the Hornets (2023-24).
Despite his fluctuating NBA career, Ntilikina has remained a significant presence in international basketball. He has represented the French national team in major tournaments, including the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup and the 2020 Olympic Games.
Ntilikina’s return to Europe and his signing with Partizan is seen as a strategic move for the Serbian club, aiming to enhance their backcourt with his defensive prowess and experience.
The announcement about Ntilikina’s signing comes on the same as day as that of Iffe Lundberg from Virtus Bologna.
