Keenan Evans has suffered another setback, as Olympiacos announced he will be sidelined 15–20 days with osteochondral damage in his right patella.
The 29-year-old guard is still recovering from a patellar tendon rupture that kept him out of the entire 2024–25 season, following earlier surgeries for a torn Achilles and a left knee injury during his Zalgiris days.
The injury rules Evans out of the Stoiximan Super Cup in Rhodes (Sept. 26–27) and likely the EuroLeague opener at Baskonia (Sept. 30), leaving his availability uncertain for the early part of the 2025–26 campaign.
Olympiacos will also be without Moustapha Fall long-term, while key Greek internationals Kostas Papanikolaou, Tyler Dorsey, Giannoulis Larentzakis, and Kostas Antetokounmpo are expected to return after EuroBasket 2025.
Since 2019, Evans has built his overseas career with stints at Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Haifa, and Igokea before joining Zalgiris in 2022 and signing with Olympiacos in 2024.
