Following their dominant performance against Anadolu Efes, Zalgiris Kaunas secured back-to-back victories with an 80-68 triumph over Panathinaikos.

Keenan Evans played a pivotal role, leading Zalgiris Kaunas in scoring with 24 points, including a 4/5 shooting performance from beyond the arc.

Laurynas Birutis contributed solidly with 12 points, while Edgaras Ulanovas and Rolands Smits each added 10 points in the impressive win over the Greek powerhouse.

“It’s amazing,” Evans said. “We just wanted to be physical, to be aggressive and not let anyone be too comfortable.

“In the first quarter, we came out and let them be too comfortable, they were getting anywhere they wanted and getting the shots they wanted. We had to change that and that’s how we came out with the win.”
