The San Antonio Spurs have waived guard Isaiah Miller, according to HoopsHype. The move comes just two days after the club signed the 27-year-old ahead of training camp.
Miller, who went undrafted in 2021, has spent much of his career in the G League and overseas. He most recently played for the Austin Spurs, averaging 14.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 15 games during the 2024–25 season.
His campaign ended in February after suffering a torn right ACL, but his strong play before the injury highlighted his athleticism and defensive motor.
Miller also found success internationally. In 2024, he signed with APR in Rwanda, where he scored 43 points in the Basketball Cup final and earned Finals MVP honors. That performance helped secure a championship for APR in September of that year.
Before his stint overseas, Miller spent time with the Iowa Wolves and Salt Lake City Stars. With the Stars, he developed into a consistent contributor on both ends of the court.
San Antonio initially added Miller in October 2024 but waived him shortly after, sending him to their G League affiliate. His strong play in Austin set up another opportunity with the Spurs this month, though it ultimately ended quickly.
