Serbia’s captain and Los Angeles Clippers guard Bogdan Bogdanovic highlighted the team’s philosophy: prioritizing collective performance over individual matchups.
“When we prepare for other teams, especially at the European Championship, it’s all about team basketball. That’s also our style. We stay focused on ourselves. The first game is coming. Obviously, it will be tough – the first game always is. We will respect Estonia as much as possible,” Bogdanovic said.
Acknowledging the competitive nature of Group A, the player pointed to Turkey as a major challenge, along with hosts Latvia, Portugal, and Czechia.
“One of the biggest opponents. This is basketball; anyone can win, anyone can have a good day. But right now, we are focused on Estonia. One game can mean more later, but right now the most important thing is the next game.”
