Ronnie 2K announced on X that the top 100-rated players are out.

Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George has dropped 81 in his overall rating compared to 89 in the previous year in NBA 2K.

George was ranked 92nd behind Josh Hart due to his recent performance following an injury in his first season with the Sixers.

The last time he was below 85 overall was with the Indiana Pacers in NBA 2K14, the start of his rapid growth in the next few years.

Meanwhile, Detroit Pistons first overall pick Cade Cunningham outgrew top players as he jumped from having a top 16 behind Joel Embiid in the overall rating in NBA 2K26.

Cunningham started with an 82 overall in the 2K22, then retained the 84 in the two seasons 23 and 24. Last year, he was already 86, and now jumped into 92 overall in 2K26.

These two stars are remarkable in their best versions, but timely ratings are changeable, resulting in adjustments of each attribute. They were among the players with the most significant ratings differences from the previous year.

George averaged 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game, while Cunningham made 26.1 points, 9.1 assists, and 6.1 boards in the last season.
