With the majority of marquee names from the 2025 free agent class having either re-signed with their previous teams or secured deals elsewhere, the pool of available talent has thinned considerably.

Still, several notable veterans and role players on the market could be signed at relatively modest prices, outside of the already well-discussed restricted free agent group.

Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report lists Al Horford, Russell Westbrook, and Amir Coffey as the top three low-cost free agents still available.

Horford has been the subject of persistent rumors tying him to the Golden State Warriors – a team also linked to Pincus’s fifth- and sixth-ranked options, Gary Payton II and De’Anthony Melton.

Reports suggest that Horford’s signing is expected to materialize once Golden State resolves the ongoing situation involving Jonathan Kuminga.

Westbrook’s future remains more uncertain. The veteran point guard has been connected to the Sacramento Kings, but sources indicate that the team has been exploring trade or roster moves involving Malik Monk and/or rookie Devin Carter to create space in the backcourt.

If those maneuvers don’t materialize, Westbrook’s landing spot could shift elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Coffey and Pincus’s No. 4-ranked free agent, Ben Simmons, are in a different situation, with fewer concrete developments.

Simmons has drawn at least exploratory interest from multiple teams – including the Kings, Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks, and Boston Celtics – yet there has been little media buzz or solid team connections for Coffey at this stage of free agency.
